The “CDPC- Schenectady Community Support Center” put together a wonderful Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner Wednesday. The first of many to come.
Every year for decades I join friends for my Thanksgiving day meal. This year all of them were going out of town so my holiday meal was going to be a lonely one. I almost went to the Golden Corral buffet just to be around folks to enjoy my meal but thanks to the wonderful idea Dally from Franklin Street came up with I was not alone. Her goal was to offer a nice Thanksgiving celebration for folks just like me who would have been alone.
About about 35 folks attended. I made a lot of new friends and enjoyed seeing my old ones that I miss since Collage closed.
The food was scrumptious, the Turkey was just right, moist and tasty with the desert rounding it all out. Homemade pies.
Thank you Dally!
